The students have begun this year off studying Science Safety. We reviewed safety rules, procedures and equipment. They have a quiz on all of this material next week.
They also began their first unit on Heat. They were assigned some readings and began a vocabulary list. Their first project is to determine how a thermometer works. They will be building their own thermometer and testing it next week.
