The students will get back their equipment test and will be asked to get them signed and returned to me.
We started our first unit on Fluids. The students received a project that will be due next week Wednesday.
They were assigned textbook questions to help them with their assignment. All their work should be in their assignment booklet.

The students received their safety test and were asked to get them signed and return them to me.
We started our first unit on Heat. We received the particles in the 3 states of matter and components of the particle theory. Students were asked to define the scientific terms of heat and temperature.
This week we tried making our own home made thermometers. The students made them and tested them. They were asked to make a conclusion on their findings and explain how a thermometer works.

Welcome to Ms. Chandra's Science Page 2018-2019
Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone had a great summer!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Ms. Chandra. I will be teaching Grade 7-8 Science at LKS and I will also be the Homeroom teacher for 8B and teaching their Math. I am looking forward to working again with the students, parents and staff.
This web page is now up and running. I will be updating it regularly and it will help keep you updated with my Science program, upcoming topics, assignments, tests and projects.
I look forward to meeting you and getting to know one another.
