The students have submitted their ‘Protist’ assignment and had a chance to look at various samples of pond water under microscopes this past week. They were able to see real life examples of Protist. They will be having a quiz later this week. Their quiz will cover the following information:
Plant Kingdom – Characteristics of Deciduous and Coniferous trees
- The process of Photosynthesis
Fungi Kingdom – Characteristics of this Kingdom
- Group members
- Conditions they grow in

Protist Kingdom – Characteristics of this Kingdom
- the three ways protist can move
- notes made in class as well as microscope use and parts discussed in class
