The students have begun to look at the uses of fluids, how pressure affects fluids and fluid power. They were asked to answer questions 1-3 on page 195 and a set of questions on pressure (8-10 specific questions assigned in class). They will be getting a worksheet and practice questions on calculating pressure. We have begun talking about a final project that will involve building a hydraulic/pneumatic device in weeks to come. Next week, the Grade 8s have Scientist in the School with us.
